1) Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq

Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (Razi Allahu Anhu) was the closest friend of the first Caliph of Islam and Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). His real name was Abdullah ibn Abi Quhafa and his title was "As-Siddiq". He was born in 573 CE in a respectable and rich family of Mecca.

Hazrat Abu Bakr (Razi Allahu Anhu) belonged to a Quraish family which was famous in the market. Even before accepting Islam, his life was full of decency and dignity. When Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) presented the message of Islam, Abu Bakr (Razi Allahu Anhu) was one of the first people who accepted Islam without any doubt. They completely believed in the message of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and always supported him. For this reason they were called “As-Siddiq”.

Dawate Tabligh: After accepting Islam, Hazrat Abu Bakr (Razi Allahu Anhu) used his goods and properties for the spread of Islam and to help the Muslims. He invited many people to Islam and strengthened their faith. Many companions of Islam became Muslims because of his preaching.

Hijrat: When Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) was troubled by the mushrikeen of Mecca, he decided to migrate to Madinah. Hazrat Abu Bakr (Razi Allahu Anhu) became his companion in this journey. This journey was very difficult and dangerous, but Hazrat Abu Bakr (Razi Allahu Anhu) sacrificed his life to protect Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). He spent three days with the Prophet in Ghar-e-Saur (a Cave), where they gave the best proof of their love and loyalty.

After Hijrat, the system of Islam was established in Madinah. Hazrat Abu Bakr (Razi Allahu Anhu) supported Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) on every occasion, be it ghazwat (war) or running the system of Islam. His valor and loyalty were clearly visible in Jang-e-Badr, Jang-e-Uhud, and Jang-e-Khandaq.

After the departure of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), the question of leadership arose among the Muslims. Hazrat Abu Bakr (Razi Allahu Anhu) was chosen as the first Caliph of Islam with the consent of all. His period of Caliphate lasted for only two years and three months, but he strengthened Islam in this short period.

Solved Many Problems During his Tenure, Such As:

1. Fitna of Murtadeen: After the demise of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) some people left Islam. Hazrat Abu Bakr (Razi Allahu Anhu) fought against them and brought them back to Islam.

2. System of Zakat: Some Qabils were refusing to pay Zakat, but he strictly maintained the system of Zakat.

3. Collection of Quran: During his time the work of collecting verses of Quran at one place was started. This was one of the great achievements.

Hazrat Abu Bakr (Razi Allahu Anhu) was a very simple and pious person. In spite of becoming Caliph he never accepted anything in his life. He always followed the principles of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and did justice.

Hazrat Abu Bakr (Razi Allahu Anhu) Died in 634 CE. He wished to be buried along with Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) in Masjid-e-Nabawi according to his will, which was fulfilled.

The life of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (Razi Allahu Anhu) is an example of honesty, loyalty and sacrifice for the nation. The work he did for the spread of Islam and unity of Muslims will be remembered till the Day of Judgment. His leadership, sacrifice and his divorce from Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) will always be a source of relief for Muslims.

Bismillah Importance of Namaz (Salah) in Islam: Namaz (Salah) is one of the five pillars of Islam and it is a very important part of the life of Muslims. It is a duty of worship, which is mandatory for every sane and adult person. Namaz (Salah) is not just a routine but it is a way of worshiping  Allah. Namaz(Salah) ! There is a direct connection between Allah and man. Through this a man asks for prayers, mercy and forgiveness from his God. This creates a feeling of respect and gratitude towards Allah in the heart of man. The importance of Salah has been mentioned in many places in the Quran : "No doubt, prayer prevents one from shame and evil, and the remembrance of Allah is the greatest." (Quran 29:45) This verse tells us that prayer is not just a form of worship; rather it prevents a person from evil deeds and makes his people better.
